Suguay Productions

I have been working on finding a nice theme for this site. I think I have found one that offers a lot of flexibility. There are a couple of things I would like to adjust but can live with it for now. There are two I like so things might swing back and forth for a bit until I decide which is best.

Along with the theme change, I am working on a new header image. I am reworking the Suguay Productions logo to update it a little. When I get it finished I’ll post it in the header image area.

I’ve also set myself up with Akismet so you may find comments being available for some posts in the future. As always, be nice. If you must criticize be constructive.

I’ve added a few more cool plugins to make the site a bit more robust. I hope.

Some things that are on my To Do list for the site include; an about page, a Contacts page, a more games posts, and new subjects as well, and I’ve learned a bunch of stuff about WordPress so I’ll need to add some things there. That’s just a start. It’s all coming. Just not in the next 10 minutes so check back often to find out what’s new and see the cool changes.

Anyone who has followed the saga of this site and the change from Joomla! to WorPress will know that it has taken me a really long time to make it happen.

I finally have all the articles copied over. I have turned off or disabled comments on all the articles, (at least I think so). And I have now finally got all the articles categorized, as best I can, in relation to where they were on the Joomla! site.

You will notice there is a space for a graphic above each of the articles. I will be adding graphics in the future. I don’t expect to make them retroactive. So if there isn’t a graphic associated with the story already, it won’t get one. I will try to add them to all future posts. If I can create something quickly I might manage one with this post. Maybe.

The next step is to take down the Joomla! site and redirect the main page for that to here. I’d like to say I’ll be doing that soon but you have seen how long it has taken to do this.
